Winterlong Turns 9!
It's that time of year again, our BIRTHDAY! We are celebrating 9 years, and as with every year we celebrate with NEW BEERS, great FOOD, GIVEAWAYS, and GOOD TUNES!

NEW BEERS
We brewed two new beers for the release. They were both premiered at the Haines Beer Festival (last weekend). Both beers will be available on June 1st starting at noon online and in-store.
MODEL CITIZEN Kölsch -style Ale (4.8%) An easy drinking ale with fruity and herbal notes and a crisp, clean finish. We call it a 'Kölsch-style Ale' as technically Kölsch has to be brewed in Cologne, Germany (i.e. it is an appellation, similar to Champagne and Scotch Whiskey). A Kölsch is considered a hybrid beer style, as it exhibits some of the fruity character of an ale, and is brewed with an ale yeast, but finishes clean and crisp like a lager. We are stoked to feature some more birds on the label, some of our personal favourites, chickadees!
Featuring three resourceful chickadee species found in Whitehorse, the Boreal, Black-Capped and Mountain Chickadees.
OLD WOLF West Coast IPA (6%) A west coast IPA brimming with classic old school hop flavours of pine resin and citrusy orange. This is our brewer, Romain's first recipe here at Winterlong and we are pretty excited to feature it at our 9th Anniversary. The can artwork also features our first wolf, who is a little bit metal, just like the beer.
