Fall - It's GO TIME
Fall is in the air. Yay to fall colours, northern lights, and stars! Labour Day Weekend is just around the corner and we're open REGULAR HOURS 12-7 pm daily.
It's also the GO TIME to finish all those outdoor projects. Our new storage building out back is just waiting on the final dirt work and we're good to go.
We sure have been swamped this summer, with the first busy tourist season in a couple years since the pandemic started. It has been great to see visitors around again and for all the bars and restaurants to be doing well serving up local beer!
If we are being honest though, it has been hard to keep up again! The tap list and store shelves have dwindled in response. Never fear, we’re working to get a full board again!
Here are some releases and events you can look forward to this Fall.
September Releases
Moonbase Freedom Hazy IPA dropped last Friday; the last batch of Spruce Tip is coming mid-September (keep an eye out for pre-order info); HazySexyCoool and Haze Junction will grace the taps again at the end of September.
This week we’re brewing a special Collaboration Beer with some new friends from Vancouver, BC - Container Brewing. Stoked to share more soon, but you can expect to try this beer at the end of September.
Oktoberfest
Our Oktoberfest Festbier will return for our annual Oktoberfest Celebration (September 24-25th). Tickets for this event will be released soon. Follow our Facebook event, Instagram page, or sign up for our newsletter to get first dibs (subscribe at the bottom of this page).
This year we are hosting the event over two days and will also have the Festbier available in cans! Get your Dirndl and Ledershosen ready and prepare your drinking muscles to drink from a 1L Maßkrug.
October & Beyond Releases
In October, you can expect our next Kettle Sour Release - > Surfer Rosa Gose w/ Rose Hips as well as some bigger annual-release beers —> Divine Intervention Barrel-Aged Belgian-style Tripel & Neptune Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with Coconut & Cocoa Nibs.
We have some other dark beers on the horizon that we're brewing in October (to be released in November), our award-winning Black IPA -> Nightshade as well as an old seasonal -> Log Splitter Smoked Porter!
Great Canadian Beer Festival
The Great Canadian Beer Festival returns to Victoria, BC, after a 2-year hiatus. We are happy to be a part of it again, so BC Friends, get your tickets and come to Booth 67 on September 9th or 10th. Tickets are available through the Victoria Beer Society! We'll be pouring HazySexyCool Hazy IPA, Weekend Warrior West Coast IPA, Pingo Pale Ale and Mountain Hero Saison. We also have some sweet swag to give away to the first few visitors each day!
