We are pleased to announce the kickoff of another fundraiser this week, for one of our local ROTARY CLUBS.
We’ve partnered with the WHITEHORSE RENDEZVOUS CLUB to release a collaborative growler and special draught-only beer release on June 22nd. All proceeds will go to the Rotary Club (Growlers & Beer).
To kick off the occasion, we will be hosting Rotarians on June 22nd at 5 pm, including the incoming Rotary International President, Jennifer E. Jones, the first woman to hold office in the organization's 115-year history! We will release the beer and the growlers at the event.
ABOUT THE BEER
We’ve crafted a special draught-only release perfect for summer, based off our new summer seasonal, High Noon Hefeweizen (aka German wheat beer). These summery wheat beers are the perfect base for fruit additions, and we've always wanted to try our hands at a pineapple Hefeweizens so this was a great opportunity to give it a try. There's only 1 keg so make sure to come try it soon.
Rotary is a humanitarian service organization with 46,000 clubs worldwide, and a total membership of 1.4 million individuals. They are dedicated to causes that build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever. If you grew up in a small Canadian town, they probably had a Rotary Club, that held fundraisers to raise money for many worthy local and global causes.
Rotary's 7 Areas of Focus are:
- Peace & Conflict Prevention/Resolution
- Disease Prevention & Treatment
- Maternal & Child Health
- Clean Water & Sanitation
- Economic & Community Development
