April is flying by, with May already around the corner! The crocuses are even starting to pop up, even with a chilly -10 C this morning and snow flying yesterday. Still we've got our patio open with a beer garden in the works out front. Read on below for a breakdown of beer releases, food specials and growler fill updates!
As we say goodbye to winter, we are also saying goodbye to the last of some of our fall and winter seasonal beers, like LOG SPLITTER Smoked Porter (there’s a few pints left in the last keg), FIREBEAN Rye Coffee Porter (she gone!) and NIGHTSHADE Black IPA (on tap now while supplies last). In their places, we have both NEW and RETURNING favourites:
DREAM MACHINE IPA w/ Nelson Hops (6.8%) – An experimental, single batch brew available for draught only. This beer was inspired by some delicious IPAs we tried in San Diego (pre-COVID) and we’ve wanted to play around with Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand ever since. This brew is a biscuity and dank masterpiece with loads of flavour. Outside of the brewery, Gather Café & Taphouse will have some on tap soon.
SECRET DESTROYER Fruit Sour (6.3%) – We hear ya, it’s been too long since we had a sour available. Enter your favourite Passion Fruit and Guava sour. The release date is on Tuesday, May 4th, with pre-sales for 4-packs going on sale Monday May 3rd (at 8 pm). Set your calendars!
MOONBASE FREEDOM Hazy IPA (6%) – This favourite is our current Hazy IPA offering, and this batch is back where we want it – ever so soft and smooth, tropical and dank. Available in cans and on tap.
TRUCKSTOP POETRY Hazy IPA (6.3%) – This hazy IPA is next in line, we brewed it just this week, so look for it in mid-May.
ANNIVERSARY BEER RELEASES – We are going to keep these a secret for a bit longer as they will be released in early-June, but as a little teaser we are releasing, not 1 but 2 anniversary beers, which you may consider revamped beers we have brewed before! We are beyond stoked for these.
Sour beer lovers rejoice! We'll have this tropical and tart kettle sour available May 4th.

Growler Fill Updates
We are pleased to announce that we will be filling ALL GROWLERS again starting May 1st and that our Growler Exchange Program has run its course. You can finally dust off those Stanley insulated growlers!
With active cases at zero, borders closed, and those vaccination rates getting up there (yay YUKON, keep up the good work), we are in a good position to relax this measure. Trust that we are still implementing sanitary procedures when filling your growlers.
We still need you to ensure your growlers are CLEAN, by rinsing them thoroughly (with warm water) following use and letting them air dry with their lids off. Please don’t bring in a DIRTY growler and ask us to fill it with our delicious beer. You'd be doing yourself a disservice not to mention disrespecting the beer and our awesome staff.
On May 1st, we will no longer be taking back used growlers. We will have the used stock available for free, while it lasts.
Fridays have become PIE DAYS, with a selection of savoury pies being delivered from LANDED BAKEHOUSE every Friday after 3 pm. Come and get 'em.
We've still go our usual Scotch Eggs from LANDED BAKEHOUSE available weekly between Thursday-Monday. And don't forget Swiss Bakery Pretzels come in every Wednesday for our Pint & Pretzel deal.
