From Tiny To Small

From Tiny To Small

Well, after months of planning and waiting, we are finally settling into our new brewery space in the back of the building.  We have all of our new tanks set up and now all we have to do is brew some beer to fill them with.

We've moved our brewing equipment from our little "storefront" to the new brewery space, so when you come to fill your growlers this week you may notice that the old brewery space is looking a little empty and lonely.

The new brewery space is complete with a concrete floor and larger floor drains. There's now ample space for storing bottles, kegs, grain, growlers and glassware, not to mention we have easier access to the two bay doors finally!  All the contractors have come and gone, we've got power and water to where we need, and we're ready to brew.

Last Friday we did our first brew in the new brewery space, which was our third batch of the ever popular Spruce Tip Ale.  Now we're ready to brew back-to-back-to-back days to get all the new tanks filled with delicious beer!

While we may have just tripled our brewing capacity, we are still small.  But it feels like we have grown up a little. We now have a brewery space we can more easily grown into.
