Best Delivery Ever

Best Delivery Ever

So today was pretty much the most exciting day ever. We got our brewing equipment! Sure, it was 2 months late, but better late than never.

It was shipped from Portland, Oregon to Seattle, Washington by truck last week. In Seattle, it was loaded into a SeaCan and boarded a barge with Alaska Marine Lines to Skagway, Alaska. Six days later, it arrived in Skagway, and the SeaCan was loaded onto another truck and driven over the White Pass to Whitehorse by Marko (another Marko - yes, there are more of us) at UPV Global.  This morning we had to unload it from the SeaCan into another truck for final delivery to our brewery. A few hours of lifting and shuffling and it was all unloaded.

5 hours later, we finally had all the packaging off. 5 out of 6 vessels fit through the door. We had to remove a window to get the last one in (thanks Sean and Nathan).

Now that the equipment is here, we can start getting all the building upgrades we need. We're starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
